After my own heart...

This past Friday Will spent the night with a friend so we had some time alone with Francie! I asked her what she would like to do and she said "go shopping and buy me something and come home and make cupcakes for dessert"! She's a girl after my own heart!!

The Countdown Is On

Two weeks from today I'll be getting ready for a hot date with my sweetie!! He's gonna take me to see New Moon!!! I am so excited!! I know it will be great! Yes, I'm still a "little" obsessed with the whole Twilight Saga!! And it seems to keep getting worse!! These pics are just fueling the fire!! (you can see all of them at the Harper's Bazaar website) I absolutely love, love, love, this picture!! Have a great weekend!! Only 14 more days!!!

Remember When...

We have always gone to my mom's house for Halloween! It is all decorated with orange lights and jack-o-lanterns, and scarecrows! She makes us chili and cheese dip, rice krispie treats, brownies, and "squished frogs" -everything is delicious!! We visit, trick or treat, laugh, and just have fun!! It is always so special and I love it as much as the kids do! It is one of my favorite traditions we have- thanks Mom for all you do! This year we missed my sister and her crew! BOO HOO!





We had a butterfly (Morgan), a ballerina (Francie), a spider (Wyatt-so cute), and snake eyes (Will)this year! We got lots of candy and ate lots of candy!!

Ballerina

Francie is going to be a ballerina for Halloween this year! It was the cheapest Halloween costume I have ever bought and she can use it for dance class too!! She is so cute as a ballerina! Her little tummy and her behind- adorable! I had to play dress up with her when I brought home the tutu! She loved it!

Cupcake Queen!

Granny got Francie a cupcake maker for her birthday!! She loves cupcakes and she couldn't wait to try it out so she made herself and Will one the other night! And I must say they are very courageous to eat these cupcakes! I mean, they took 30 seconds to cook! There has to be something wrong with that, but no one got sick- PTL! She had a great time and it really was fun to cook with her!

Fall

I changed my bulletin board today for fall (I love to do bulletin boards)- for the past few years I've been using Bible verses and art projects that go with our theme or season or lessons- so I looked up verses that had the word "fall" in them. I came across this verse and it just pierced my heart! It was perfect (a message I've been needing to hear)!! I love when God catches me off guard to remind me of truth! Now I have this reminder everyday at school!

Dear Jesus,
Help me to fall into your hands! To rest in your peace and soak up your beauty! Thank you for your great mercy to me, a great sinner! I love you!!
